Q: How should I prep my skin before a trial?
Please come to the trial bare faced, having washed and moisturised your skin.
Q: When are trial appointments available?
Trials take place during the week: Mon-Fri, daytime or evening appointments are available.
Q: Where do trials take place?
Trials take place at my house, CM8. If this is difficult for you please get in touch to see if I am available to come to you.
Q: How long does a trial take?
A trial usually takes around 1.5hr-2hrs. I will allow a 2 hour slot for a bride, any other trials will be 1hour.
Q: When does a bridal trial take place? Can I have an initial trial before booking to see if you are right for me?
A bridal trial is usually somewhere between 8 to 10 weeks before the wedding date. This time frame is to ensure all the details of your wedding are finalised, making you confident in the makeup look you would like to go for, and also ensures the look we create is fresh in my mind. Trials may be earlier or later by request – however for brides who would like a trial in excess of 6 months before their wedding date, I do recommend an initial pre-trial, and then a full trial nearer the time
Q: Do you do offer hairstyling as well as makeup?
I do not currently offer hairstyling services. However I work with a number of amazing stylists on a regular basis, and am happy to pass on their details to you.
Q; How many faces can you make up?
As many as you require, for large bookings with tight time constraints, I have a team of assistant makeup artists available who will assist to ensure the smooth running of the morning.
Q: How soon can I book you for my wedding date?
There is very limited space available for 2016, and I am booking into 2017 and 2019. There is no limit as to how early I can be booked. It is advisable to book as early as possible. I sometimes have some last minute spaces available, it’s always worth asking me regardless of how soon your day. Popular dates book up around 12 – 18 months in advance.
Q: Do you accept credit / debit cards?
I do accept debit/credit cards, 3% will be added to your bill if you wish to do so. This is available on request. Other payment methods are bank transfers & cash.
Q: What if I need to cancel my booking?
If you do need to cancel your booking please let me know as soon as you can so I may offer the appointment to other brides. The deposit is non-refundable in event of cancellation. Please carefully read the T&Cs included on the booking form
Q: How far do you travel?
I travel anywhere within the UK, and internationally where required. For international enquiries please get in touch for a bespoke quote.
