1. 20% of your total booking is required as a booking fee to secure the wedding day. The remaining 80% is due after the trial has been completed within 14 days. Bookings made with less than 1 calendar month until the event are payable in full upon booking to secure the date.
  2. Dates are given on a first come first serve basis
  3. A date cannot be held without a booking fee and the requested date will still be open to other enquiries in the mean time.
  4. Trial payments are due at the time of booking your trial date.
  5. You agree that by paying your non-refundable booking fee you are agreeing and accepting to be bound to Sarah Drummond business terms and conditions.
  6. Failure to make payments within the agreed time frame, may result in the cancelation of your booking.


  1. The minimum booking spend for peak season weddings between April – Octoberr is £500. Low season is from November-March (excluding December) and the minimum booking spend is £350
  2. Bookings that don’t reach the minimum on peak dates will still be charged at the equivalent minimum cost.


  1. All road travel to trials and the wedding day is charged at 0.50p/per mile (round trip) and is worked out using post codes.
  2. Congestion, toll and parking charges may apply and will be quoted accordingly or where necessary paid in cash on the day.
  3. Destination weddings/events – Ground travel in the UK and in country of destination is required as well as flights and accommodation for the night before the wedding/event (and after if necessary).


  1. Early morning bookings where the start time is before 7am for any reason, a £50 surcharge will be charged.
  2. Accommodation close to the wedding venue may be required for the night before the wedding if; journey time is over 2 hours one way, the start time is 6am or earlier, or there are other foreseeable events/delays.


  1. One or more assistant artists will be required for large bookings under these variations;
    • Where there isn’t enough time for to get everyone ready in the available time frame.
    • If the venue has access time restrictions.
    • To offer a later/more relaxed start time.
  2.  Bookings that exceed 6 individual makeup services.
  3. The fee to book and secure an assistant artist for the wedding day is £100 per assistant.


  1. Trials are offered once the wedding date has been secured with the booking fee.
  2. Trial’s are held between 9am and 2pm and carried out at my house in Great Notley (CM7 2BD). If you need me to travel to you this is possible (subject to availability) travel  is charged £1 per mile round trip.
  3. Weekend trials – Saturday’s trials aren’t available as these are reserved for weddings however Sunday trials can be booked with a £50 surcharge.
  4. Trials are required for the bride (unless under special circumstances) but optional for the bridal party. Trials usually last approx 2hrs for the bride and 1hr for bridal party.
  5. In the unfortunate event that you, or any of your bridal party, decide after your trial that you are not satisfied, please send Sarah an email within 12 hours so that any issue can be resolved. After this time a repeat appointment will need to be booked at full price if this is what is required. Refunds cannot be given on work that has already been carried out.




  1. If you were to postpone the date of your wedding or it has been postponed by any other party and I am unable to perform my duties in which I have been booked for. Please speak to me before you choose a new date and we can work together to make sure I am free. Transfer to a new date would incur a £50 transfer fee.
  2. Postponements that are being made due to a wedding date falling within a government enforced lockdown will be transferred with the original reservation fee.
  3. Any bookings that postpone to a different year may be subject to a slight yearly price increase,


  1. All changes to a booking, need to be made via email and by the bride only.
  2. Payments for work that has already been carried out is non-refundable.
  3. The Booking fee is non refundable if you wish to cancel your wedding date.  Couples will have to claim through their wedding insurance.
  4. If services are reduced to less than the minimum booking requirements for peak wedding days the full minimum amount will still be charged.
  5. In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your booking completely:
    • Cancelling within 3 months of the agreed wedding date = 50% of the remaining balance still due by the original due date.
    • Cancelling 1 month or less prior to the wedding day = 100% of the balance still due.

Occasion make up

If you cancel less than 48hrs before the date agreed, no refund will be given.



  1. In the unfortunate event that we are unable to attend on the day, due to illness or for last minute, unforeseen circumstances all efforts will be made to find an alternative stylist/artist to stand in.
  2. In the unlikely event that we cannot find a replacement artist, monies (excluding money paid for work already carried out) will be fully refunded.
  3. If an assisting artist is needed for large party’s and they are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances we may ask for an earlier start time to accommodate original numbers, or a refund can be offered on services that have been forfeited.



  1. Sarah Drummond cannot be held accountable in the event of unforeseen delays on the day which are out of their control.
  2. If you are aware of factors which could delay or hinder our journey, please advise us as soon as possible so we can factor this into our route. We cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen factors.
  3. No refund or compensation can be offered for delays caused by other wedding vendors, guests, or members of the bridal party arriving late to begin our service.
  4. If you suspect any member of your bridal party may be a challenge in any way, it’s encouraged for them to have a trial to avoid potential delays on the day.



  1. All artists working under Sarah Drummond make up have full public liability insurance to protect both themselves and the client.



  1. The client must inform Sarah Drummond make up of any allergies/sensitivities/skin conditions before any services are carried out. This includes before/during the trial and afterwards if any sensitivities/problems have been found.
  2. Discounts cannot not be given on services if you want to use your own products on the day. We also cannot be held liable for the performance and longevity of the product.



  1. To carry out  makeup services, Sarah Drummond make up will need a minimum of; a cleared table/flat surface to set up and electricity power point.
  2. 15 minutes is allocated to set up and be ready in time to start services. If suitable conditions are not provided, Sarah Drummond make up cannot be held responsible for delays if time is lost due to this.


I hereby give permission for Sarah Drummond make up to use my/our name/s and photos in all forms and photos/videos for for advertising, socials, trade, promotional and any other lawful purposes such as promotion and marketing.
